Optometric Technician (PRN)

Position Requirements: Previous experience is great but certainly not required. We have an excellent training program; therefore, with an energetic personality and willingness to learn we can provide you with the necessary skills to be a great Technician. Essential Responsibilities: Prepare exam rooms and patients for eye examinations Perform preliminary eye testing Assist with patient procedures Coordinate patient flow Occasional travel to support nearby offices may be requested What We Offer: Starting wage based on previous experience/certification 6.5 paid holidays per year Approximately 10 days of PTO within first year Employee Referral Program Full slate of benefits to include health, dental, vision, and 401k Growth and wage increase through company paid certification program PHYSICAL DEMANDS (per ADA guidelines):Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing.Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs from shoulder to overhead. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
