Optometric Technician

Full time Optometric Technician opening at our busy Leadington location. This location offers family eye care and medical care. The successful candidate will have a positive outgoing personality, willing to work as part of a team, previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist, Optometric Technician, Optician, Medical Assistant or related field is preferred but not required. Job duties will include pretesting patients prior to exam with the doctor, obtaining patient health and medication data and entering information into our electronic health record system, insurance verification, answering phones, preparing patient charts, submitting claims to vision insurance plans, and cross training to learn other aspects in the optical field to assist with dispensing eyewear and contact lenses. This would be a great opportunity for a new medical assistant or someone with previous experience. We are willing to train the right candidate!
