This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a dynamic setting, emphasizing teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations based on their preferences * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery * Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft beers, cocktails, wines, and spirits, with precision and flair * Develop beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to enhance the guest experience * Process cash transactions accurately while maintaining balanced cash drawers at the end of each shift * Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all service areas, adhering to food handling regulations * Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions * Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive service *Qualifications* * Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly as a server or bartender in fine dining or casual settings * Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and processing cash transactions is essential * Extensive cocktail experience with a focus on mixology techniques and beverage recipe development * Knowledge of wine types, spirits, craft beers, and beverage pairing principles * Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully * Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in order-taking and cash handling * Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; familiarity with food safety standards is required * Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, tips, and cash handling Join us if you’re passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
