A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Must have a satisfactory driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state. Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers Maintain records in accordance with regulations Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc. Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded What's in it for You Wesco is not just a job, but a company where you can learn, develop, and build your career! Compensation Details: $19.13 - $22.96 Per Hour This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
