Chemical Sales Representative
HOWCO, Inc. was established in 1969 as an organization focused on the design and implementation of Car Wash Systems. HOWCO aims to assist car wash owners and operators in optimizing their return on invested capital. Utilizing the latest marketing data, equipment, and processes, HOWCO employees aid in sales, project planning, installations, parts, chemicals, and service in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic geographical areas. With expertise in conveyor tunnels, in-bay automatic systems, hand wash programs, and self-service car washes, HOWCO is uniquely qualified to assist prospective and existing car wash operators in maximizing their profitability.About the Role - Responsible for customer service and sales functions related to providing chemicals, supplies, and materials for daily operations to car wash facilities in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware markets. Develops relationships with the owners/operators/managers. Provides input to and follows sales and service policies, procedures, and processes. Takes initiative to ensure both short-term and long-term tasks and goals are completed. Is flexible in contributing to the team's efforts to care for the customer. A bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in marketing/sales is preferred.Knowledge of sales processes is strongly preferred.Two years of experience in car wash operations and related customer service and sales preferred.Experience, knowledge, and demonstrated effectiveness in sales and customer service.Familiarity with the car wash industry’s standards, concepts, practices, and procedures.Other Important Job Details:Frequent visits to car wash sites and daily travel within the assigned regions Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.Ability to work out of town, overnight, or during the evening, as needed to accomplish sales goals.Must be 18 years of age or older and possess and maintain a valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle history.HOWCO requires that you keep a professional, safe, and neat appearance, including no visible tattoos, while wearing appropriate business attire.HOWCO is a drug-free workplace, and all candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
