Excellent presentation, facilitation, organizational skills and other administrative capabilities. Ability to adapt to a demanding environment and manage multiple projects effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and YARDI program. Flexibility to work independently and in a team environment. Must possess the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively. Self-motivated and willing to work independently with ability to adhere to strict timelines and schedules, often with competing deadlines. Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general building trades is required. Position requires own the basic tools to perform apartment/building maintenanceReports to: Property Manager Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pmOn Call Rotation Is RequiredQualifications: Valid Driver's License requiredMinimum 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent fieldPrior apartment maintenance experience preferredKnowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general building tradesEPA Certification and Pool License preferred Other Requirements (Background Check and Drug Screening): Must be able to pass a drug test, driving record, criminal history, and background checks prior to employment with Sterling Management Ltd. Physical Demands:Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex documents. Ability to verbally and in writing communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Moderate level of repetitive typing using a computer keyboard. Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladder, reach, lift, pull, push, balance, crouch, crawl and kneel. Ability to travel to different work sites via personal automobile, rental car, airplane and other public transportation modes up to 20% of the time. Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds.
