Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Calibration Technician position located in Richmond, VA. The role involves calibrating mechanical instruments and tools to ensure they meet required standards. The technician will diagnose calibration issues, perform repairs, maintain detailed calibration records, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with customers, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with audits and inspections as needed. Qualifications Proficiency in calibration of mechanical instruments including measurement tools for pressure, flow, and dimensional accuracyAbility to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment used in calibrationFamiliarity with ISO 17025 standards and regulatory compliance requirementsStrong documentation skills for maintaining detailed calibration records and reportsEffective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team membersAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standardsExperience in the calibration or metrology industry is preferredHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in a related field are a plus
