Electrical Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Lead new product design, development, and qualification of critical electrical power distribution equipment for data centers, with a primary focus on busduct systems and tap-off boxes (TOBs).• Collaborate with internal partner teams to solicit customer input and define design requirements for product development.• Develop Capex and Opex spending budgets, considering development costs, prototyping, testing, and specialized tooling.• Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify components, ensuring supply chain resiliency.• Validate designs through prototype and pre-production builds, conducting DFx and value engineering analysis.• Support manufacturing activities for new products in multiple geographical locations.What You'll Need• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.• Experience developing solutions and executing plans on complex projects.• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($136,600 - $184,800) plus potential for sign-on payments and stock units.• Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.• An inclusive culture that empowers individuals and fosters bold ideas.• Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.Apply via Haystack today!
