Job Description:Mars Wrigley- Process Machine Operator- Elizabethtown, PA$25.40/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium (rotating shift only) This site manufactures DOVE ChocolateCurrent Shift Schedule4-Shift Rotation: Rotates between:4th Shift: Week Off3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMWeekday Shifts: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)Weekend Shifts: 12-hour shifts (off every other weekend)Future Shift Schedule:In 2026: Transition from rotating to fixed shifts (specific details still in discussion)Description of Role:Process Machine Operators are responsible for, but not limited to, product and machine changeovers, hourly quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), continuous improvement recommendations and assisting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team when necessary.What are we looking for?Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing roleBasic analytical and mathematical skillsProficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)Physical Requirements:Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred Qualifications:4 or more years of experience in manufacturingFood or beverage manufacturing experienceMaintenance knowledge or capabilitiesFork lift experienceWhat will be your key responsibilities?Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement.Responsible for the efficient production of quality products.Operate, monitor, and perform changeovers on machineryTrain and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team.Conduct temperature checks, complete Critical Control Point (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP) checks daily.Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks.Any ad hoc requestsTotal Rewards Starting Pay: $25.40/hourShift Differential: $1.50/hourAnnual Bonus and Merit Increases Benefits Starting Day One:Medical, Vision, and Dental Up to 6% 401(k) match Vacation time Tuition reimbursement Short/Long-Term Disability 18 weeks parental leave Allergies: This is a peanut FREE facilityWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
