About The RoleThe Field Engineer is an entry-level, hands-on position that supports the installation of precast concrete structures. Working closely with field crews and foremen, this role helps coordinate daily operations, ensures proper sequencing and layout, and contributes to keeping projects on schedule.Salary range ($75,000-$85,000). This individual demonstrates a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVEBachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or structural engineering. OSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprintsBasic knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety requirementsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentSelf-motivated with strong organizational skillsFamiliarity with survey equipment is a plusWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skillsWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors year-roundAbility to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
