Sr. Fullstack Engineer
Join the technology team of a Fortune 500, publicly traded global hospitality leader with more than 1,500 properties spanning 80+ countries. This organization is in the middle of an ambitious digital transformation - modernizing guest-facing platforms, mobile experiences, and backend services that touch millions of travelers around the world.As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll build and ship features on high-traffic, high-visibility applications, working shoulder-to-shoulder with product and design to shape how guests interact with a global brand. This is a chance to write code that scales, own real product outcomes, and work with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack from day one.What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain full stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React (Hooks, functional components)Develop and consume RESTful APIs that power guest-facing and internal applicationsWrite and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and confidence in every releaseManage source control with Git and contribute to CI/CD pipeline orchestration in GitLabPartner closely with UI/UX designers — reviewing designs, providing feedback, and helping refine the user experience before and during implementationCollaborate directly with the product team to understand requirements, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into technical solutionsCommunicate clearly and proactively across engineering, design, and product stakeholdersContribute to architectural and technical discussions as the team evolves its cloud and serverless capabilitiesQualificationsRequired:Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScriptProficiency with Node.js for backend developmentExperience building UI with React, including Hooks and functional component patternsSolid understanding of API design and integrationFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks and best practicesWorking knowledge of Git for version controlExperience orchestrating CI/CD pipelines in GitLabDemonstrated ability to collaborate with UI/UX designers and give constructive design feedbackStrong communication skills, with experience partnering with product teams to clarify requirements and provide technical inputPreferred:Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, ECS, ECR, S3, and RDSSQL skills for querying and working with relational dataFamiliarity with serverless architectures and patternsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceCandidates with strong hands-on experience in lieu of a formal degree are encouraged to applyMMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
