You'll develop new instrumentation electronics, write LabVIEW-based tools that turn signals into insight, and help bridge R&D to production with designs that are reliable, scalable, and wildly effective. If you enjoy turning engineering challenges into elegant hardware-and-software solutions, this is your kind of playground.ResponsibilitiesAs the lead for advanced instrumentation systems, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting cutting-edge electronics and data-acquisition capabilities in manufacturing and production environments. Your role ensures that complex electromechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy advanced instrumentation systems , including new electronics and data-acquisition solutions for production environments.Design analog and digital circuitsto support instrumentation and control needs. Develop LabVIEW toolsfor system monitoring, control, and data analysis. Create detailed specifications and design packagesfor electronics and instrumentation projects. Manage electronics builds and testing , ensuring quality and compliance with requirements. Troubleshoot system performancein centrifuge-plant environments to maintain operational reliability. Collaborate across disciplines , working closely with mechanical, electrical, and external engineering teams. Lead project tasks and mentor engineers , fostering technical growth and team success. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and procurement specificationsto support timely and accurate sourcing. Ensure safe and efficient operationof complex electromechanical systems while meeting project schedules.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of experience, or equivalent industrial instrumentation experience 1+ years in manufacturing, R&D, and electronics development Experience with instrumentation, sensors, circuit development, and data-acquisition design Familiarity with simulation and modeling (e.g., Altium, PSPICE, LabVIEW, Simulink, OrCAD) Ability to obtain or maintain a "Q" clearance. A Successful Candidate Brings: Bachelor's or + 10 years of experience, or Master's with focus in industrial electronics 3+ years of nuclear-industry experience Hands-on circuit design and implementation for production/manufacturing Deep LabVIEW data-acquisition experience Embedded software development and/or test experience Currently possesses a "Q" or "L" clearanceNeed help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!Click here to get started.
