The studies performed are: 12 lead electrocardiograms, HOLTER monitor applications, and stress testing.As an EKG Tech, you willPerform electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitoring, and event monitoring according to physician ordersPrepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning electrodes correctlyAccurately place and maintain electrodes to ensure high‑quality tracingsMonitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings to clinical staff promptlyMaintain, clean, and troubleshoot EKG equipment to ensure proper functioningDocument test results and patient information accurately in the electronic health recordEnsure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout testingFollow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all timesCoordinate with nurses, physicians, and other care team members regarding test scheduling and resultsAssist with transporting patients to and from testing areas, as needed Minimum QualificationsHS Diploma or equivalent required.BLS certification required.Formal training in electro cardiology techniques/terminology preferred.EKG experience preferred.BenefitsComprehensive benefit packages, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid time off, 403B, education assistance and voluntary benefits (pet insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and others) available from the first day of employment.
