Job Description McCleaster Family DentalJob SummaryWe are a growing private practice with a focus in restorative and cosmetic dentistry seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist (part-time) to join our friendly, hardworking team for long term employment that may lead to full-time. The ideal candidate will provide high quality dental care and oral hygiene guidance contributing to our patients' overall health and well-being. You will be joining a professional team with years of experience who treat their patients with honesty, comfort, and compassion. New and recent graduates are welcome to apply! Responsibilities· Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy (SRP)· Assist with procedures as needed· Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care· Take digital dental x-rays and intraoral camera photos· Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software· Assist with patient assessments and treatment planning· Work collaboratively and efficiently as a motivated team player· Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, OSHA, HIPAA Experience· Experienced and new graduates welcome· Proficiency in Dentrix and Dexis preferred· Loupes and headlight preferred· Exceptional, patient friendly communication skills· Familiarity with restorative and cosmetic dental procedures Office hours:· Monday 9:00am – 6:30pm (1 hour lunch)· Tuesday 8:00am – 6:00pm (1 hour lunch)· Wednesday 8:00am – 2:00pm· Hours and days can be flexible for the right candidate1 hour hygiene visits for existing patients with x-rays1.5 hours hygiene visit for new patientsPay: $49 - $54 hourly based on experience· Paid holidays· Employee discount· Paid sick time· No weekends Please email your resume and cover letterConsider joining our wonderful team where you will be respected, valued and be able to provide exceptional dental care!
