Senior Low Voltage Installation Technician (Commercial)
Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Senior Low Voltage Installation Technician to support commercial security and life safety installation projects in the Little Rock / North Little Rock market.
This is a true installation-focused role — not service work. You will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and commissioning commercial access control, fire alarm, IP Cameras, and security systems on active job sites.

What You’ll Be Installing
You will work on commercial systems including:
Access Control Systems (controllers, readers, mag locks, electric strikes, door hardware)
Fire Alarm Systems (control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances)
CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems (IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms)
Intrusion / Burglar Alarm Systems
Low voltage cabling (CAT5/CAT6, device wiring, structured cabling)
Key Responsibilities
Install and upgrade commercial low voltage and security systems
Pull, terminate, label, and test cabling
Perform system testing, signal verification, and commissioning
Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and installation materials
Complete job documentation and close-out reports
Work independently on job sites with minimal supervision
Support and mentor junior installers when needed
Required Qualifications
3+ years of commercial low voltage or security system installation experience
Strong hands-on experience with access control, fire alarm, CCTV, or alarm systems
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using hand tools and test equipment
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
ESA Level I
NICET (Fire Alarm)
NESA
Manufacturer certifications (Honeywell, Notifier, Lenel, Bosch, Avigilon, Siemens, Johnson Controls)
Compensation & Benefits
$27–$35/hour pay range
