These work areas will include but are not limited to Heat sink, Pre-assembly, Kitting, Prep, setup/Tear-down, Slide Line, and Final. The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery. This person will also be responsible for training others.Essential FunctionsAssemble circuit boards according to the layout drawing, bills of material, and manufacturing documentation using work instructions to meet IPC-A-610 Class 2 standardsInspect circuit boards to ensure IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards are metUse computers, small hand, and torque tools, scales, calculators, and rulersProvide adequate coverage to PCB assembly areas including but not limited to Heat sink, Pre-assembly, Kitting, Prep, Set-up/Tear-down, Slide Line, and FinalRepetitive, fast-paced, and accurate hand insertion of electronic components into PCBsCommunicate effectively with co-workers in a team environmentPrioritize workload to meet daily and weekly production goalsEnsure that the assigned area is organizedFollow company policies and rules regarding ESD, quality, and safetyPhysical DemandsConstant use of fine finger dexterity, neck flexion and reachingFrequently required to use both hands to hold circuit boards, bins, tools, and componentsFrequently lift, push, or pull 11-25lbs and occasionally lift, push, or pull 26-50lbs Occasional bending at knees and waistClose vision, midrange vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and balance are requirements of this positionConstantly Sitting/Standing/AlternatingOccasionally climb stairsOccasionally walkAdditional FunctionsTransport product from one assembly area to the next assembly area Ability to work flexible schedules and 50 hours per week Monday through SaturdayQualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentRead English sufficient to understand schematics and assembly instructionsRead English sufficient to understand basic computer use instructions, company policies, safety directives and other work instructionsAbility to communicate in English to understand and give verbal work instructions to coworkers who only speak EnglishHandwrite work related notes in EnglishAdd, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbersDecimals / fractions used with use of calculatorUpdate ERP system including open, save and exit6 months assembly or manufacturing experience preferredITW is an equal opportunity employer.
