Substitute Van DriverRequirements for Substitute Van Driver: 1) High School Diploma or GED equivalency 2) CPR/First Aid Certificate 3) Held a valid CA Class C Driver's License for at least 5 years, or are at least 21 years of age and have held a valid CA Class C Driver's License for at least 3 years 4) At least 3 years clean driving record. Must be included in DMV "pull notice" Division which reflects driver 5) Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug Screen. Addition to the random drug & alcohol testing pool; required to submit to a random drug and alcohol testing under the guidelines of the Department of Transportation Bus Driver Pool 6) DOT physical for pre-employment clearance, thereafter, every two years, or every one year if over the age of 65, or as required for medical issuesApplication requirements: Applications must include all of the required documentation Edjoin.org Application Resume Two letters of recommendation related to employment Copy of CA Driver License To comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all new employees must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Persons applying for employment in the Thermalito Union Elementary School District, who receive a conditional offer of substitute employment, will be required to submit to a finger-print based Department of Justice background check, a Department of Transportation Drug Screen, Department of Transportation Medical Clearance and provide proof of TB clearance.
