Host — Part-Time *Comal | Long Lake, MN* *Pay: $16–$18/hour* Comal is looking for a warm, welcoming, and dependable *Part-Time Host* to join our team. Our hosts are the first and last impression of Comal. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, brings positive energy to the restaurant, and understands that great hospitality takes teamwork. What You’ll Do * Greet every guest with warmth and hospitality * Manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow * Seat guests and communicate effectively with the service team * Answer phones and assist with guest questions * Keep the host stand, entrance, and guest areas clean and organized * Assist with light cleaning and restaurant upkeep as needed * Jump in and support teammates during busy services * Help create a welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave What We’re Looking For * Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with guests * Dependable and punctual * *A team-first mentality and willingness to help wherever needed* * Organized and able to stay calm in a busy environment * Strong communication skills * Willingness to assist with light cleaning and maintaining a clean restaurant * Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful, but we’re happy to train the right person * *Weekend availability is required* Pay & Perks * *$16–$18/hour*, based on experience * Part-time schedule * Employee dining discount * Closed on select holidays * Supportive, family-owned restaurant environment * Opportunity to grow with our hospitality company About Comal Comal is a neighborhood café, fonda, and bar in Long Lake created by longtime Twin Cities hospitality professionals Angel and Finesse Luna.
