We're searching for a Senior Staff TLM, Electrical Engineering - HPE.In this role, you willLead an exceptional team of electrical engineers responsible for the development of electronics for LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware productsCollaborate with numerous internal and external teams gathering requirements, defining HW architecture, modeling, and delivering LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products that achieve performance and product metricsGuide and manage the team to build, integrate, test, and debug LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products; leverage software tools and advanced test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)Mature processes for electrical engineering product development that adhere to safety, execution and quality requirementsPartner with mechanical, operations, and validation teams to mature high quality electrical designs to manufacturing; including supporting test infrastructure development to meet product coverage and yield targetsLeverage deep expertise in product development (define/build/test), and have extensive prior experience launching productPartner closely with program management to manage project deliverablesPartner closely with supply chain and new product introduction to identify and qualify suppliers, parts and processesPlan and promote a forward looking outlook to hire and develop the team to meet future product roadmapRequired QualificationsThis role requires a bachelor's or master's degree with a focus in electrical or computer engineering10+ years experience in industry developing complex electrical hardware4+ years direct, personnel leadership of electrical engineering teams including hiring, establishing best practices, managing performance and growthExpertise in system architecture, signal and power integrity design and analysis, high speed signaling, grounding, analog electronicsHigh proficiency and ability to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraintsExtensive experience with hardware productization: system, board and chip level implementationStrong electrical engineering fundamentals supported by the use of CAD tools to capture schematic designs, manage PCB layout, leverage Power/Signal simulation/emulation inputExpertise with lab instruments (Oscilloscopes, Analyzers, DMMs, Power Supplies, and E-loads)Desirable QualificationsExperience with LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware productsKnowledge of automotive requirements, safety framework (ISO26262) and qualification processesExperience with both rapid prototyping and design for manufacturingProgramming and Scripting (C++, Python or equivalent) experienceFPGA/ASIC Design experienceThe base salary range for this position is $197,000,000-$315,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
