This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. Prepares drinks for servers, ensures a high level of hospitality, and handles cashier duties for the lounge.Required Skills and AbilitiesAbility to communicate in EnglishSelf-starting personality with an even dispositionMaintain a professional appearance and manner at all timesCan communicate well with guestsWilling to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team playerBasic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beveragesBasic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizesSufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stockSufficient strength to lift, load, and transport product weighing up to 50 lb. from storage facility to barAbility to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu itemsAbility to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a checkAbility to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of timeAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patronsPerformance StandardsCustomer SatisfactionWork HabitsSafety & SecurityNote:This description excludes non-essential and marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the fundamental job duties.
