Sanitation and Manufacturing Team Member

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation and Manufacturing Team Member to join our team in a food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by following strict food safety guidelines and cleaning protocols. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This role also supports and aids in our manufacturing process throughout the day. This role’s typical shift is 9:00am to 5:00pm. Key Responsibilities · Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, work areas, and facility surfaces according to the company’s food safety standards and schedules · Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning · Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety guidelines (including PPE usage) · Complete sanitation logs and checklists accurately and in a timely manner · Assist in preparation for regulatory audits and inspections · Identify and report any sanitation or safety concerns to management · Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and HACCP guidelines at all times · Work to ensure sanitation meets operational needs · Maintain proper storage and labeling of cleaning supplies and chemicals · Operate production equipment, assist with machines that mix, mold, extrude, cool, and convey product during manufacturing. · Place raw ingredients into machines, form products on the line, and ensure proper flow through each step. · Monitor production to ensure product meets standards; remove defective product and report issues. · Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean to meet food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines. · Inspect finished products for quality, weight, appearance, and proper packaging · Package, label, and palletize products according to company and customer specifications · Perform basic setup and minor troubleshooting as needed · Follow all safety guidelines and report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors · Meet production targets while minimizing waste and downtime · Perform other duties as assigned Requirements · You must be at least 18 years old. · Have knowledge of safety and hygiene standards. · Must be able to continuously work with your hands at a rapid pace for the entirety of your shift. · You bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm and the ability to follow precise instruction to the work place. · Previous experience in food manufacturing or sanitation is a plus · Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures · Be capable of standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in wet/cold/hot environments for extended periods · Comfortable working with chemicals and cleaning equipment · Flexible to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed Pay: $19.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
