Backed by TPG, one of the nation’s largest private equity investors, Banyan is rapidly expanding access to high-quality, compassionate care.The Colorado facility is a 60-bed, full-continuum operation running five active programs: medically monitored detox (ASAM 3.7), residential SUD and mental health treatment, and PHP across both tracks.Why Join Banyan Treatment Centers?This is an opportunity to take full cultural and operational ownership of a site within a nationally recognized organization at the forefront of SUD and mental health treatment.As an Executive Director, you will:Take full cultural and operational ownership of a 60-bed dual-diagnosis facilityBuild and develop high-performing teams across five active programsEstablish the standard for excellence, accountability, and compassionate careContribute to strategic direction in partnership with Regional Executive and Senior LeadershipWork within a network of Executive Directors and senior operations leadership invested in your successBenefitsEligible full-time team members receive comprehensive benefits including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and disability coverage401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysWellness incentives and employee assistance programs.Key ResponsibilitiesSet the cultural tone of the facility through consistent, visible, people-first leadership by being accessible to staff, attuned to team dynamics, and quick to address what's not working before it compoundsLead, develop, and stabilize a multi-disciplinary team across clinical, administrative, and support functions, identifying and retaining department-level leaders and investing in staff growth at every levelOwn all site staffing decisions including recruiting, hiring, coaching, disciplining, and separations, operating within the approved staffing matrix in partnership with department heads and HROwn site-level P&L in partnership with the Regional Executive — driving revenue performance, managing expenses to budget, and overseeing capital expenditure planningOwn census performance, program quality, and regulatory compliance across all five programsOwn the relationship with licensing officials, facilitate site visits, and develop and implement corrective action plans as neededEnsure a safe, compliant environment in alignment with state, federal, and accreditation standardsOversee the planning and formulation of policies and programs that advance the organization, recommending them for Regional and COO approvalServe as the primary community ambassador by cultivating referral relationships, funding partnerships, and local stakeholder trust through active participation in regional committees, state task forces, and professional organizationsContribute to strategic planning and long-term growth in partnership with Regional Executive and Senior Leadership, including program development, marketing, and organizational structureRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or a related field; Master's degree, preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment settingsMinimum 3 years in a director-level or senior leadership roleEstablished community relationships in the Colorado SUD/MH treatment landscape, preferredProven ability to analyze market data and execute strategic growth initiativesStrong financial acumen, operations management, and regulatory compliance knowledgeExperience with regulatory and accrediting bodies including CARF, Joint Commission, and state and federal agenciesApply NowIf you are a seasoned leader in the SUD and MH field, with genuine community relationships and the leadership presence to stabilize and elevate a team- apply now to join a mission-driven organization making a real difference.Banyan Treatment Centers is an equal opportunity employer.
