Perform sample preparation for organic and inorganic chemical analysis using various techniques such as acid digestion, hotplate, and microwave methods. Conduct oil and Fuel testing. Conduct wet chemistry procedures including p. H measurement, titration, and density analysis. Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as, ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma), TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), TMA (Thermomechanical Analysis), GCMS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry), Raman Spectroscopy, FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), XPS, SIMS, and Auger. Manage lab consumables and maintain housekeeping standards. Follow EH&S protocols, including handling hazardous chemicals like hydrofluoric acid. Process and analyze data from instrumentation. Collaborate with engineers and lab staff to support research and testing initiatives. Approximately 70% of the role is hands-on in the lab.
