Information Desk RepresentativeThe Information Desk Representative provides a welcoming and positive first impression at all the Premier Health facilities by providing information about hospital services, patient information, visitor information and by directing patients and visitors to patient rooms and hospital departments. The Information Desk Representatives interface with all hospital departments and services to facilitate a timely and consumer oriented response to those needing assistance. The Information Desk Representative will monitor the flow of activity at the various entrances, offer accurate, simple directions, wayfinding to patients, families, and visitors and monitor the supply of wheelchairs at the various entrances.EducationMinimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GEDExperienceMinimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experienceKnowledge/SkillsComputer literate and keyboard proficiencyUtilizes the hospital computer system to provide authorized patient informationStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environmentOutstanding customer service skills, conflict management and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently with little to no supervision and exercises good time managementAbility to work in a high stress environmentManage multiple tasks while remaining focused on the overall delivery of service to hospital customersExhibit an attitude of caring and empathy, insure fairness and concerns for all person of all economic and social levels, races and cultures and sexual orientationAccepts responsibility for mail, packages, flowers, and equipment left at the information desk and follows up on delivery to the correct location
