Part-time Bartender

Bartender Located at: 232 Worthington St, Springfield MA Role Overview We’re looking for enthusiastic Bartenders who will provide an excellent experience for our guests. Good Bartenders will be personable and will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding guest’s needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips. Role Responsibilities Comprehensively understand and present cocktail and food menus Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests Professionally interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present all bar menus Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Provide accurate bills and process payments Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed Perform opening and closing duties as needed Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Comply with all COVID restrictions and regulations Role Requirements Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Experience working in a fast-paced environment Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Customer service experience preferred Computer literacy Who We Are Dewey’s Jazz Lounge was created from a true love of jazz music, passion for exceptional food & drink, and a desire to unite community members.
