Director Clinical Development
We are partnering with a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel therapies in immunology and inflammation to identify a Director of Clinical Development.The Director of Clinical Development will provide strategic leadership across clinical programs and play a key role in advancing assets through early-stage development. This individual will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support clinical strategy, study design, execution, and data interpretation.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and strategic input across ongoing and planned clinical development programsContribute to clinical development plans, study protocols, investigator brochures, and other key clinical documentsLead the design, execution, monitoring, and interpretation of clinical studiesPartner with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Biometrics, Medical Affairs, Translational Sciences, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful study executionReview, analyze, and communicate clinical data to support program decision-makingSupport interactions with investigators, key opinion leaders, advisory boards, and external development partnersContribute to regulatory submissions and health authority interactions as neededEnsure clinical activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, GCP, and company objectivesQualificationsMD requiredBoard certification and/or subspecialty training in immunology, allergy, rheumatology, dermatology, or a related field preferredPrior industry experience in Clinical Development within biotechnology or pharmaceutical organizationsExperience supporting Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical programsStrong understanding of clinical trial design, clinical data interpretation, and drug development processesExperience working in immunology, inflammation, autoimmune, respiratory, or related therapeutic areas preferredDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent scientific communication and presentation skills
