MOMS Program Coordinator
CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
We are currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Coordinator to lead our MOMS Program team in delivering high quality services in a safe, gender-specific and trauma-sensitive environment for pregnant/post-partum women with substance use concerns. This position will plan, organize and direct the day-to-day activities of the program, ensuring exceptional services are being provided while also monitoring and maintaining program productivity and observance of program/agency policies and guidelines. This position will also be responsible for grant management and reporting.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma, Degree in Psychology or related field preferred. Must have a current license from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board as a CDCA or from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board as an LPC or LSW. Should have knowledge of and experience with managerial operations, including having strong skills in leadership, supervision, communication and program development. All persons considered for employment must submit and pass a drug screen and fingerprint background check.
