Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Wound Care in Batavia, OH Are you a dedicated wound care specialist looking for an impactful and flexible opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional wound management services on a temporary basis in Batavia, Ohio. This vital role offers the chance to make a difference in patient outcomes while expanding your professional experience in a dynamic outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a wide range of wounds, from vascular and pressure ulcers to acute and traumatic injuries. You will be responsible for comprehensive wound care, including debridement, topical therapies, hyperbaric oxygen supervision, and patient education on ulcer prevention and wound dressing techniques. Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to implement preventative measures and utilize advanced treatment modalities such as bioengineered skin, skin grafting, and negative pressure-assisted closure. Your expertise will be instrumental in reducing wound complications and promoting healing. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Valid medical license to practice in OhioCertified in wound care or relevant specialty trainingProven experience managing complex wounds, including ulcers and traumatic injuriesProficiency with EMR systems, preferably EpicExcellent patient communication and education skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient settingNice to Have Skills: Experience supervising hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)Additional certifications in wound management or hyperbaric medicinePrior experience with advanced wound treatment technologiesPreferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years of clinical wound care experience, preferably in outpatient clinics or hospital settingsOther Requirements: Approximately 15-30 patient consultations per dayWillingness to work from December 8, 2025, through March 31, 2026Credentialing process completion within an estimated timeframe with potential for temporary privilegesFacility reimbursement for travel, lodging, and transportation expenses as per IRS standardsThis is a rewarding opportunity to serve patients in need while working in a supportive environment.
