Certified Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to provide frontline clinical support at our Medically Assisted Treatment/OBOT program in Knoxville. Responsibilities Performs injections, obtain vitals, medical changes, and updates the EMR Performs screening procedures as indicated Prepares exam and treatment rooms, maintaining supplies and equipment Performs terminal cleaning of exam rooms Capable of phlebotomy and specimen handling Acquire necessary patient information to meet current Federal guidelines for electronic medical records Obtain pertinent patient information including patient authorizations, recent labs delivered by patient, etc. Obtain patient authorization for medical records release and release of information (HIPAA CFR 42 compliance) Monitor and review patient schedules for next office appointments. Assists in ordering, receiving, and stocking office supplies. Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants Current certification as a Medical Assistant CPR certified or within30 days of hire (provided if needed) Clinical experience is required Experience with substance abuse recovery programs preferred At Bradford Health Services, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace for our employees.
