Proven ability to collaborate across teams and across levels of management. Focus on compliance and telemetry in existing and new solutions. Experience analyzing real-time and trending service behavior through telemetry Experience leading and representing the service in backlog refinement discussions to establish appropriate prioritization of engineering requirements Embody our culture and valuesQualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in at least one language including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.Other RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related sciences or equivalent experience Experience as a software engineer building commercial software and a proven track record of working on successful software products Experience in technical lead roles with all aspects of software development spanning incubation to delivery. Design skills along with coding proficiency in C#, Python, .NET etc. Software development experience with the front-end stack (UI libraries/frameworks, Typescript, JavaScript). Development experience on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in building APIs and Microservices Experience working in agile teams or startup environments with customer focus Communication skills, ability to drive clarity and coordinate work between people and different teams. Ability to efficiently deal with uncertainty and unknown areas, fast learn and develop.  Experience with React, Postgres DB, Vue/Solid JS or similar libraries  Familiar with deploying container-based workloads into a managed Kubernetes environment, like Azure Kubernetes Service Demonstrated leadership competencies such as creating clarity and delivering success Basic knowledge in AI is a bonus Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
