Marketing Administrative Coordinator
Reporting to the VP Marketing and assisting the Web Content & Marketing Manager, this position will allow the individual to earn hands on experience in Marketing and related departments. The areas include learning administrative skills to coordinate the logistics behind internal and external events, furniture market, social media, creative writing, print and digital marketing, and populating information that drives company websites. The position will allow the individual to gain insight into the support that Marketing provides to various company departments in the office, sales, and manufacturing areas. Projects will be assigned to assist in providing, analyzing, and supporting projects. Essential FunctionsResponsible for the administrative tasks that support company executives and events such as Hickory Chair University, furniture market, dealer events working with stakeholders such as caterers and other vendors, sales representatives, and participants.Participate in the annual marketing planning process in support of organizational/ department objectives and business challengesResponsible for making sure information is accurate, imagery, and selling aids are posted in a timely manner to all branded automation tools to empower our selling organization and customer network and removing out of date informationAbility to create and post to social media. Then track, measure and report on results; utilize learnings to maximize future posts and resultsResponsible for sales aids inventory, design, production, and distribution of point-of-sale materials including brochures, tear pads, etc. as needed for print and then digitally formattedSupport program/product launches through coordinated/integrated communicationsAssist manager to collaborate closely with outside agencies and internal stakeholder departments to ensure plans are grounded in company strategy and "on brand"Participate in furniture market set up and during market including event coordination, press scheduling, sales, and merchandising team support of marketing collateral.Engage with various department to build a strong knowledge of our company, products, employees, culture and how to support our customer base.Assist in a sales support role in open territories. Be the point of contact for sales and marketing related support but not customer service or claims. This could include assisting a designer with orders for memo samples or images of product for their presentations. SKILLS AND CAPABILITIESMarketing mindset with strong verbal and written communications skillsExperienced in Microsoft Office and online social media platforms tools such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest as well as email platforms such as Constant Contact, etc.Create content using software such as SAP, company CMS platforms, Issuu and programs such as Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and IllustratorAble to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes and limited resources; proactiveStrong analytical and planning.
