Job DescriptionPermian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Data Engineer reporting to the Sr. Director of Data & Analytics in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for the below responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.General ResponsibilitiesIntegrated member of the Data & Analytics Team responsible for data engineering within Databricks for all the business teams at Permian Resources Responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines from source systems into an analytics ready environmentConvert raw data into usable formats for data consumersMonitor and support the development and production environments within Databricks to ensure system availability and qualityContinuously develop, test, and manage the data pipelinesBuild data pipelines that transform, clean, and aggregate data from the disparate systemsDevelop data models and pipelines for reporting, dashboards, and machine learningCollaborate with multiple business SMEs, data scientists and IT members to provide reliable and clean dataWork on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Minimum QualificationsProven experience within the Databricks Data Engineering platform or similarBS/BA in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant fieldProficient knowledge of SQL, Python, R or other similar languagesMust be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teamsMust have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationPermian Resource is an equal opportunity employer.
