You will have the option to attach your resume in addition to completing the application.Please contact (661) 391-2170 with any questions about the online application process.Position DescriptionGeneral SummaryUnder general supervision, performs the full range of journeyman level electrician duties in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, equipment and appliances.Essential Job Functions1. Regular and reliable attendance.2. Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE.3. Responsible for Daily Shift validations.4. Must possess a current and valid Driver License and Journeyman Electricians License.5. Engage in morning safety tailgate meeting and communicate safety topic with crew when needed.6. Installs, maintain and repair all electrical components.7. Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment and components of machinery.8. Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc. in hazardous location.9. Be aware of the dangers associated with hazardous atmospheres and mitigate hazards associated with accessing job site and transportation clearances.10. Setup and calibrate flow meters. Pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters and current to pneumatic transducers.11. Be actively involved in all KSI and Customer Safety Processes.12. Perform tasks assigned by Foreman.13. Develop knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs and refer to the SOP prior to each task.14. Follow all KS Industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures.15. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.Position RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English• Ability to communicate with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner.• Knowledge of technology (iPads, cellphones etc.)• Demonstrate knowledge of Stop Work Authority (SWA)• Ability to complete training for Behavioral Safety Process• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of industry specific safety standards• Knowledge of electrical operating principles of motors and electrical apparatus.• Knowledge of local electrical codes• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and written reference material• Ability to perform mathematical calculations• Ability to use hand and power toolsEducation and ExperiencePreferably 4 years of industry experience with a degree in electronics.Physical & Mental RequirementsWorking Conditions:The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions.Working Hours:Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-8's and 4-10's.
