If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping clients reach meaningful resolutions, we would love to hear from you.At Tabono Law, we are proud to provide exceptional family law services throughout West Michigan, and we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to—and grow with—our continued success.The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of litigation experience, be confident in the courtroom, and possess a strong working knowledge of Michigan court procedures and the rules of evidence. This role requires the ability to independently manage an active caseload from day one.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolutionAttend and lead in-person and virtual hearings, mediations, depositions, and trialsMeet with clients and prospective clients to assess legal needs and provide clear, strategic guidanceDraft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, settlement agreements, and judgments in a timely and accurate mannerPrepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and development of direct and cross examinationsNegotiate settlements with opposing counsel while advocating for favorable client outcomesDevelop case strategies that are ethical, effective, and cost-conscious for clientsConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and litigation effortsQualificationsActive member in good standing with the Michigan State Bar5+ years of litigation experience required; family law litigation experience preferredDemonstrated courtroom confidence, including strong oral advocacy skills and the ability to think on your feetExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilitiesStrong written communication skills, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefsAbility to manage a caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlinesEffective communicator with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnelSelf-motivated, reliable, and committed to a strong work ethicAdaptable team player with a growth mindset and willingness to support and mentor others as neededStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demandsBenefitsSupportive and positive team cultureCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) retirement benefitsOpportunities to grow professionallyWork that truly matters—we make a difference in our clients’ livesPay: $100,000 – $150,000 annually, commensurate with experienceIf you are ready to build a practice focused on strategy, precision, and long-term client relationships, we invite you to apply.Join a team that values clarity, collaboration, and purposeful work—while helping clients move forward with confidence.
