Local Delivery DriverThe Local Delivery Driver for The Restaurant Store is responsible for handling the loading and delivery of orders for local customers. The Local Delivery Driver is expected to perpetuate high levels of customer service while navigating delivery routes and completing threshold-level delivery services.In the event of any downtime or lapse of orders, the Local Delivery Driver is expected to serve as an Operations Professional within the store itself, assisting with daily material handling responsibilities.Job Location615 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.ResponsibilitiesProperly organizing and loading picked and prepared orders into delivery vanCompleting morning and afternoon delivery routesProfessionally and politely interacting with and delivering product to customer locationsEffectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questionsMaintaining general cleanliness of delivery vanPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
