This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, architecturally significant projects in a dynamic, professional, and supportive environment.Position SummaryThe Senior Assistant Project Manager (APM) plays a key role in supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent in the successful execution of all phases of construction projects. This individual will manage project documentation, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across 1-2 jobsites.This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position requiring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently with guidance and direction from a Project Manager.We are looking for someone who we can collaborate and nurture to one day be a Project Manager at our company. So if you have this ambition and desire, we can work together on this.Key Responsibilities:Project Administration & Coordination· Manage and track Submittals and RFIs, including daily review of open items and coordination with PM/Superintendent.· Maintain real-time updates of finish schedules (by room).· Oversee project directory, permit logs, and drawing/specification management.· Support PM in quality control for all project deliverables.· Conduct daily check-ins with the Project Manager and provide additional support as needed.· Maintain Project Closeout Binder with Project Engineer.Financial Management· Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) invoice management.· Manage Applications for Payment (AIA billing), including monthly AP coding· Prepare and review Billing Detail Reports with Project Manager· Enter and manage Procore Budget and Procore Billing data.· Prepare Commitment Change Orders (CCOs) and Prime Contract Change Orders (PCCOs).· Review final Pay Application packages with the Project Manager prior to submission.Qualifications· 5+ years of experience in construction project management or related role; experience with high-end residential or custom builds preferred.· Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam· Strong understanding of construction documents, budgeting, scheduling, and contracts.Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:· 401(k)· 401(k) matching· Cell phone reimbursement· Dental insurance· Flexible spending account· Health insurance· Life insurance· Vacation Time· Sick time· Vision insuranceWork Location: 2034 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123
