The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with business requirementsUtilize Tableau Prep and advanced Tableau features (LOD expressions,parameters, calculated fields) to build scalable data solutionsExposure to MicroStrategy for report development or migration.Write,optimize and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for efficient data retrievalCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful insights and data driven solutionsPerform data analysis, data modelling, and data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of dataLeverage Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or similar libraries) for automating workflows, data processing, and API integrationsEnsure performance tuning and optimization of dashboards and queriesCreate and Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and processesWork closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers and business analysts and business users to deliver high quality solutions.Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are adhered to across reporting solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and reporting discrepancies.Support deployment, scheduling and maintenance of tableau reports on Tableau server.Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting codeConsult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systemsApply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debuggingServe as advisor or coach to new or lower level analystsIdentify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutionsResolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedentsHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications4–8 years of hands-on experience in Tableau developmentDevelop and support reports and dashboards using MicroStrategyStrong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and stored proceduresSolid understanding of data warehousing conceptsProven Experience in handling large datasets and performance optimizationProficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and API integrationsExperience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood to HaveExposure to API-based data integration and automation workflowsExperience in Banking or Financial Services domain and understanding of domain- specific KPIsFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts or tools related initiatives in analyticsBasic Knowledge of version control tools like Git.EducationBachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
