Applicants must be US Citizens due to the fact that we are ITAR certified.Job Title: Repair StationTechnician Department: Repair StationHours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pmReports to: Repair Station Supervisor FLSA (Exempt / Non Exempt): NonExemptJob SummaryPerformassembly, disassembly, cleaning and repairing of valves, motors, and blowers ina safe, effective and efficient manner in order to deliver a quality product toour customer.Job Responsibilities Disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of valves, motors, andblowers Perform analysis to trouble-shoot and ascertain failure causes Setup and perform tests for functional acceptance Perform maintenance in accordance with technical information Comply with all Safety requirements of the position and the facility. Follow the policies outlined in the Employee handbook and the posted WorkRules for ASC. Behave in an ethical and professional manner at all times. The employee may be assigned otherJob Qualificationsresponsibilities as required of the position.Required Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical manuals Good written and communication skills Computer literacy Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment Highly disciplined problem solver with a strong work history andattention to detail Proven ability to work independently with self-motivation to improveproduction Basic shop math skills are necessary so that essential calculations maybe performed throughout the assembly process. The flexibility to work overtime on weekdays and weekends, as dictated bythe workload, will be a requirement for this position.Preferred Experience with light aerospace equipment maintenance Prior exposure to aerospace requirements and practices Background in testing using pneumatic gauges and electrical testequipmentPhysical Demands The employee frequentlyis required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach withhands and arms. The employee isoccasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch orcrawl. The employee mustfrequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or moveup to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Tools / Equipment Powered and hand tools to perform the function of product assembly. Some hand tools may have vibration.Working Conditions Temperature controlled factory environment.
