CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer *RELOCATION PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES*The LHH is seeking a CNC Programmer for a direct hire, permanent placement position with a manufacturing client located in Crawfordsville, IN. This is a newly created position and a unique opportunity to join a well-established organization with a rich history and strong reputation in the community. You will work with a variety of equipment and machinery, program multi-axis lathes, and lead process improvement initiatives. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85,000-95,000 per year plus quarterly bonuses and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProgram multi-axis CNC machines (up to 4-axis).Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines and develop efficient machining strategies.Design and assist in the creation of tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support complex setups.Model cutting paths using CNC software and optimize machine settings for quality and efficiency.Perform quality assurance checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and customer specifications.Modify programs and setups to improve cycle times and reduce waste without compromising quality.Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues and perform basic maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening tools.Train operators on proper CNC machine operation and program interpretation.Manage project timelines and ensure programming aligns with production schedules.Evaluate production costs and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.QUALIFICATIONSAssociate's Degree in CAD, Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related field is preferredMinimum of 3+ years of CNC programming experience for machining equipment is requiredExperience with multi-axis mills and lathes is requiredMust have experience within a manufacturing industryStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset is required***Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.***If you or someone in your network fit this profile and would like to apply for this CNC Programmer position in Crawfordsville, IN then please submit your application alongside your resume using the link in this posting.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledPay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
