Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation and reporting skills. Good analytical and problem solving abilities. Basic math skills. Ability to understand product drawings, specifications and visual work instructions. Ability to understand and use basic inspection tools. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications Perform in-process an final inspections on machined products and connections Responsible for documenting inspection results, and adequately complete proper Company and client required documentation Responsible for initiating documentation for nonconforming materials, components, and finished assemblies Verification of effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive actions Report potential problems and assist in implementing preventive actions to avoid nonconformities Use, maintain, and assist in calibration of all measuring equipment Maintain a professional relationship with machinists, final prep personnel, and supervisors and managers Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS Perform other duties as required by Supervisor Job type: Full- time Pay: $16 - $22 (based on experience) Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health Insurance Paid time off Referral program Schedule: Day shift Overtime Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Independence, LA 70443: Reliable commute or relocate before eligible to start work.
