Job Summary
We are seeking a *Program Manager 2* to lead Data, Analytics, AI, and GenAI initiatives across Abbott Diabetes Care. The role will partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable, governed, and AI-ready data solutions.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Product initiatives from planning through delivery.
* Partner with business, IT, Architecture, Engineering, and Data teams to define priorities and solutions.
* Manage roadmaps, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
* Drive Data Product adoption, governance, quality, metadata, and stewardship.
* Identify and evaluate AI/GenAI use cases and business value.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and aligned with enterprise standards.
* Provide leadership with portfolio status, risks, priorities, and recommendations.
*Strategic Business Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment*
* Act as a trusted Data and Analytics partner to business functions, identifying opportunities to leverage *data, analytics, AI, and GenAI* to deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Build strong relationships across *Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance*.
* Translate business priorities and challenges into actionable Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Product initiatives.
* Facilitate cross-functional discussions, decision-making, and alignment across business and technology teams.
*Data Product Leadership*
* Establish and scale a *Data Product delivery model* across Abbott Diabetes Care.
* Promote product-centric delivery practices and adoption of Data Product principles across business domains.
* Partner with stakeholders to define, prioritize, govern, and measure Data Products.
* Lead discovery, roadmap development, KPI definition, and value realization.
* Promote reusable and governed Data Products and support *Data Mesh/domain-based ownership* principles.
*Data Engineering & Platform Excellence*
* Champion modern *data engineering practices, standards, and best practices*.
* Support development of strong data foundations focused on *data quality, observability, metadata, lineage, security, and governance*.
* Partner with Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure enterprise data assets are scalable, reliable, reusable, and optimized for analytics and AI.
* Promote effective use of *Databricks and lakehouse technologies* for Data Products, Analytics, AI, and GenAI workloads.
*Technical Leadership & Solution Design*
* Provide technical leadership across Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Product initiatives from concept through implementation.
* Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical capabilities.
* Partner with *Enterprise Architecture and Corporate IT* to define solution strategies and technology direction.
* Evaluate trade-offs involving business value, technical feasibility, scalability, cost, security, and governance.
* Ensure solutions are secure, governed, reusable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
*AI & Generative AI Leadership*
* Identify and assess opportunities to apply *AI and Generative AI* across Abbott Diabetes Care.
* Partner with business stakeholders to define use cases, expected value, success metrics, and delivery requirements.
* Evaluate AI/GenAI opportunities based on strategic value, feasibility, risk, and alignment with organizational requirements.
* Collaborate with *Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, and Delivery teams* to support responsible implementation.
* Promote responsible AI practices and track business impact and outcomes.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
