Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, you will work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, and client success teams to generate interest in Nextpoint with prospects and existing customers. You will also learn various sales techniques such as how to handle a discovery call, demo software, address objections so you become an integral part of the sales team. In addition, you will be responsible for on-site software training for existing customers.You are a high-energy, self-motivated professional with sound business acumen, a curious mind, and natural sales instincts. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy the challenge(s) of designing and executing new campaigns and applying the learnings to the next initiative.Responsibilities: Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory Coordinate list building activities to ensure prospect data is relevant, accurate and complete Proactively reach out to prospects and customers via phone and email and create a great first impression and get referrals from existing Canadian customers Partner with Sales and Client Success to help fill their pipeline and understand the white space for new users in our Canadian accounts Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute outbound marketing initiatives Maintain active prospect engagement and a healthy pipeline of new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications Leverage CRM, calendars, and other project management tools Meet and exceed monthly activity goals Understand how to demo and train users on the Nextpoint software and deliver our value proposition Ability to travel as needed. Travel may include coming into the office for events, or going on-site to meet with clientsQualifications: 2-4 years experience in a customer facing sales role; SaaS/Tech sales experience will take priority Prospecting experience preferred Excellent written/verbal communication skills Demonstrated curiosity to learn about a new industry and product Strong problem-solving skills Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively Authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
