POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking licensed massage therapists with 5 years of Resort Spa experience that believe in tailoring massages to the guest's individual needs and not by modality. Your job will be to enhance and maximize the results each guest receives through your knowledge and massage practice. We want to ensure you enjoy your work and the environment you perform it in. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them most. Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions, such as diabetes Design sessions around clients' specific complaints or problem areas Listen to clients during massages and adjust techniques to meet their needs Must exhibit an upbeat attitude towards guests and colleagues Aware of the guest experience, always communicate professionally and courteously. Maintains cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the spa Follow Lapis and Oak's guidelines and protocols Maintain an upbeat attitude Retain a comprehensive knowledge of all current services, product benefits, key ingredients, and proper application. Able to speak to and actively suggest other services and retail products to enhance the guest experience Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments, or leaders; always Works with safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards. Maintains spa treatment rooms neatly and professionally, including but not limited to stocking linen, cleaning, instrument sterilization, and replacing all table linens after each service. Solution-oriented, avoiding conflict and gossip, staying on task, and promoting teamwork. Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must maintain current Nevada state massage license Minimum of 5 years massage and customer service experience in a high-volume spa Must have a working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the body and an in-depth understanding of the latest massage industry techniques, equipment, services, and products. Ability to stand for extended periods Must be physically able to perform massage up to 6-8 hours a day/ 5 days a week Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment Must possess outstanding customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Must have excellent communication skills Must be well-groomed and professional Reliable transportation required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $29.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
