We Are Hiring! - 3rd Shift Quality Control AssociateJob Title: Quality Control Associate (3rd Shift)Join a growing team at the forefront of healthcare packaging, where your attention to detail helps ensure the quality and safety of products used around the world.ResponsibilitiesInspect in-process and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, customer specifications, and job order requirementsPerform testing (e.g., tensile, seal strength) and precise measurements using tools such as rulers (to 1/64") to verify product integrity.Conduct detailed visual inspections, including color accuracy and consistency across production runs.Identify, document, and communicate quality issues to production teams for timely resolution.Complete all required quality documentation, labeling, and records accurately and on time.Pack finished products and prepare them for shipment according to established procedures.Follow all GMP, quality control procedures, and cleanroom protocols, including proper PPE use.Collaborate with team members while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.Essential SkillsExperience in quality control, lab work, or a fast-paced production/manufacturing environmentAbility to perform precise measurements using tools (e.g., rulers to 1/64")Strong visual inspection skills with ability to identify defects and inconsistenciesFamiliarity with GMP and quality control practicesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to stay focused during repetitive tasks and sit for extended periodsClear communication skills to report quality issues effectivelyReliable attendance and ability to work as part of a teamAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)Experience in a cleanroom or controlled environmentFamiliarity with PPE and handling specialized materialsInterest in healthcare packaging or material sciencePositive, team-oriented attitude and ability to work closely with othersMotivation to learn, grow, and advance within the companyWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, 3rd shift role offering $18.00/hr + 10% shift differential ($19.80/hr total) .New hires will train on first shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) for 4–6 weeks before transitioning to 3rd shift.Worksite - Onsite Near the Bensenville Illinois areaYou'll work in a cleanroom environment alongside a small team, performing detailed inspections and measurements while seated for extended periods. The role requires strict adherence to PPE and cleanroom protocols, including steel-toed shoes and no fragrances or phone use. You'll collaborate with lab teammates and production staff in a facility supporting healthcare packaging, offering a stable, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
