Bar Manager Part-Time

The Bryant Park Hotel has a wonderful opportunity in Celon, our luxuriously chic cocktail lounge for a Bar Floor Manager (Part-Time). We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual with bar/lounge management experience for our Bar. The Bar Floor Manager (P/T) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operation on assigned shifts with a primary focus on service standards and creating great guest experiences. The normal work week would normally include two evening shifts per week, Saturdays and Mondays, but flexibility is required. Essential functions of the position include but are not limited. Directs and organizes the activities of the Celon and Events to maintain the high standard of food and beverage quality and service Ensures effective controls of beverage and labor costs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. You must also hold a food safety permit. Must have experience as a cocktail bartender and be able to fill in as such when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the establishment. Highly organized with excellent communication skills Anticipate and accommodate needs of the guests. Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings. Responsible for reconciling end of shift financials Portrays a positive and professional attitude. Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members. Must be present on the floor always engaging with team and guests during service.
