Travel Trauma ICU Registered Nurse - $2,664 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Trauma ICU Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients in trauma ICU setting • Level one ICU trauma experience required (must have directly worked in ICU at level 1 facility for 1 years) • 1 year of travel experience required • Cardiac experience required • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals as needed • Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services including advanced trauma care.
