Manufacturing Electrician -Make over $50 per hour in Pay & Benefits

Candidates must have 5 years of industrial machinery experience or must have completed their journeyman certification in an industrial environment. Required protective equipment, clothing and necessary tools are company-provided. Essential Responsibilities: Respond to reports of machine breakdowns and requests for general repairs as issued by immediate Supervisor Adhere to safety procedures such as Lock-Out/Tag-Out, elevated work, confined space, etc. Apply electrical theory to determine root causes of failures and their corrective actions Work with other maintenance & engineering personnel to accomplish tasks Perform preventative maintenance tasks and report findings Interpret electrical schematics & PLC programs Conduit installation adn wire sizing Understands the functions of electrical and electro-mechanical items such as sensors, relays, limit switches, flow switches, valves etc. Troubleshooting of relay logic, PLCs and AC/DC drives from various manufacturers Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of motors up to 2400VAC and 500VDC Use electrical testing equipment such as digital multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imagers etc. Operate mobile equipment such as Forklifts, scissor and articulating lifts as needed to perform work Use computer MRO system to perform work orders, preventative maintenance tasks and search inventory for spare components Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces Ability to work in cold/hot weather and outside (when necessary) year-round Willing to work 7 days a week with the ability to request time off with adequate notice INDST Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $31.24 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Evening shift Night shift Overtime Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Industrial machinery: 5 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Electrical License (Preferred) Journeyman Card (Preferred) Work Location: In person
