Material HandlerThe Material Handler performs production replenishments of parts and supplies accurately and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for picking orders for production and delivering those orders to the appropriate department in a timely mannerOperates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and accurately delivers materials to the production floorReviews pick list and picks appropriate material for specific work centersOperates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipmentResponsible for daily inspection of forklifts and performs on-spot checkingPerforms daily cycle count checks and accurately report resultsResponsible for putting away incoming material to appropriate stocking locationsMaintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aislesPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
