As Executive Vice President of Inpatient Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical excellence, operational performance, and strategic growth across inpatient programs.Position SummaryThe Executive Vice President of Inpatient Services provides executive leadership for inpatient operations, with a strong focus on clinical quality, patient safety, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, optimize performance, and ensure the delivery of patient- and family-centered care.You will lead the development of system-wide strategies, oversee financial performance, implement data-driven improvements, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standardsall while fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and accountability.What You'll DoStrategic Leadership & GrowthLead strategic planning initiatives aligned with organizational goalsDevelop business plans and drive service line expansionReport on performance related to clinical activity, quality, and safetyFinancial & Operational OversightPartner on annual operating and capital budgetsAnalyze financial and operational data to inform staffing and resource allocationOptimize efficiency and performance across inpatient servicesPerformance & Quality ManagementEstablish and monitor key performance metrics across sitesIdentify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutionsEnsure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulationsLeadership & Team DevelopmentGuide and support directors, managers, and clinical leadersFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementChampion patient- and family-centered care environmentsInnovation & Continuous ImprovementStay current with industry trends and best practicesImplement systems and processes that enhance care quality and safetyLead improvement initiatives with measurable outcomesCommunication & Stakeholder EngagementPresent data and insights clearly to executive leadershipBuild strong relationships with internal teams and external partnersPromote transparency and alignment across all inpatient sitesQualificationsEducationMaster's degree or equivalent requiredMaster's in a related health field preferredExperienceMinimum of eight years in a senior healthcare leadership role requiredExperience at the Senior Vice President or Executive Vice President level preferredBackground in inpatient behavioral health or hospital settings strongly preferredLicensure/CertificationLicensure in a related field preferredValid driver's license and current auto insurance requiredKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong executive leadership and operational management expertiseExceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to lead complex, multi-site operations and initiativesFinancial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource optimizationProven ability to drive change, innovation, and performance improvementCommitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfactionAbility to manage multiple priorities independentlyOur CultureAt KVC, our work is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and purpose.
