Agile Project Engineer
Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as iteration planning, iteration demos, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals and objectivesDocumentation: Maintain up-to-date system documentation in confluence, including interface definitions, system diagrams, and mission use casesCollaboration: Work closely with the government product manager and software developers to ensure system designs align with customer and technical objectivesOther Responsibilities:System Design: Develop and document system architecture, components, and interfaces to meet project requirementsSystem Interfaces: Become an expert in the system's interfaces and identify key integration pointsIntegration & Testing: Support the integration system services with external systemsContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and scalability through innovative approaches and toolsRequirementsBachelor's degree in systems engineering, or equivalent years of experienceAn active Secret clearance is required8-10 years of experience in systems/software engineering or a related roleStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFeKnowledge of DevSecOps practicesHands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Jenkins,...)Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with Java, Spring MVC, jQuery, jQuery DataTables, ThymeLeaf, AJAX, Bootstrap and CSS experiencePreferred QualificationsBackground in Mission OperationsExperience with complex system integration activitiesBenefits401K: up to 3% discretionary profit sharing contribution + 100% match on the 1st 7% of payPTO: 20 days per yearHealthcare, dental, vision, Free for a single participant$50,000 Life insurance provided, additional voluntary life insurance availableInterImage is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
